Diversity: Colour of Wales
The Chimera Textile Group have been creating works together since 2010, this January they’re bringing a new exhibition of mixed media work to the Community Gallery in Theatr Clwyd. 9 of the 12 members of the group will be exhibiting works which will cover a wide span of media from felt to creative lace, all of which will be taking influence from their home country of Wales.

Saturnalia Ramble
Once a major festival held in Roman times, the Saturnalia Ramble is a halfway house between a ramble through North Wales and a Real Ale Festival. Once a year Roman fanatics from all around the country gather in Powys to eat Roman foods (such as Roast stuffed testicles!), play traditional games and drink some of the finest local ale that the are has to offer. You can walk off your bacchanalian lethargy with a brisk walk along a route following ancient Roman paths, whilst stopping off for the occasional ale along the way.

Bird Watch Day
Bird Watch Day might pass most people day, but if you’re staying in North Wales during this time then there’s a great opportunity to learn something new about the subject from the people who know best. Experts from the North Wales Wildlife Trust will be helping visitors identify and spot bird from special spots around Aberogwen/Spinnies Nature Reserve. The best views of the birds are expected to be around high tide, so make sure to turn up between 11:00 and 15:00

Iris on the Move
The Iris Prize celebrates the very best in LGBT cinema, whilst the main Festival takes place in Cardiff in October, the best films from the previous year go on tour. This year, Iris on the Move will be returning to Llandudno bringing the Iris Prize Winner Mother Knows Best, as well as Best British Winner We Love Moses. Join the winners and the runners-up for a three-day festival highlighting the very best in up and coming LGBT cinema.
