Things to Do in North Wales in September

There’s plenty of exciting events waiting for you in North Wales this September…

During the Summer months North Wales really comes alive with events and this September is no exception.

Many visitors come to North Wales to get involved in an adventurous outdoor activity or delve into the area’s rich historical heritage, but there’s more than just beautiful scenery and castles to see here. North Wales is home to a wide range of cultural events that exhibit the very best of the region’s talent, whether it’s a wily troupe of committed actors or a well organised ale trail, you’re bound to find something fun to do whilst you’re here – just make sure that you book your event well in advance!

Ben Hur

Wrexham’s Grove Park Theatre is the town’s oldest amateur theatre and has been home to countless successful runs over the years. Their latest production promises to continue this run of form as a cast of four bring the swords and sandal epic, Ben Hur, to the community-run stage. This ‘play-within-a-play’ sees a rather mismatched troupe of actors struggling to bring Charlton Heston’s Oscar-winner to the big screen whilst trying (but failing) to keep their personal differences to one side.
